How we rank search results
The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules require us to tell you what determines the order of results. Here it is, in the order the rules are applied.
- 1The exact product you searched forIf you search a brand name and we stock it, that product is first. Always. We never place an alternative above the medicine you asked for.
- 2What we can actually send youProducts in stock rank above those we order in, and those above anything we cannot deliver to your pincode.
- 3Clinical equivalenceAlternatives are shown only where the molecule, strength and dosage form match. Biologics and narrow-therapeutic-index medicines are never offered as automatic substitutes.
- 4Your saving, then priceAmong genuine equivalents we favour the larger saving, then the lower price.
- 5Our margin — last, and never on the medicine you searched forMargin is one input among equivalents only. It never moves a product above your exact search, and it is disabled entirely for biologics and narrow-therapeutic-index medicines.
What we do not do
- · No one pays us to rank higher. There is no sponsored placement in search.
- · No countdown timers, no “only 2 left”, no manufactured urgency.
- · No fees revealed at the last step. What you see in the cart is what you pay.
- · We never show a substitute above the medicine on your prescription.
